Christmas Day 2026 is a Friday and nothing is delivered that day, so Thursday, December 24 is the date to aim for, as long as checkout still lists it for the address. Same-day delivery runs only in New York City, Los Angeles and Northern New Jersey, for orders placed by 11:00 AM local time where checkout offers it.
Is ID needed for gifts with wine, champagne or spirits?
Yes. A gift with alcohol is handed only to a recipient of legal drinking age (21+) who shows photo ID at the door, and an adult signature may be asked for, so send it where that adult will be in.
